KL, thank you for creating this beautiful bracelet. I came across it in a boutique in Nashville shortly after a recent revelation that I want to devote time to making a difference for women in the world, and when I saw your initials, which are also mine, I immediately thought "KISMET!" You will be on my mind each time that I wear it. You are truly inspiring, and I hope that you achieve your dreams and artistic aspirations. I'm in awe of you, your spirit, and your strength. Keep it up, you are amazing!

As someone who has walked down some different, but dark roads himself, the most important thing to note is that any scar/brand simply means you were stronger than whatever put you where you were or tried to take you down. You survived. You won, and you will overcome. You only lose when you give up, and if these circumstances couldn't do it, then there is nothing in this world that can do it. It can only drive you forward. You will be in my thoughts and prayers, A. I love your interesting outlook in life, and I hope whatever life brings you next is full of love and laughter, and vibrant experiences that only enrich your life. You seem to be the kind of person that no matter who comes in contact with you, you enrich them. We don't have enough of those living blessings in this word. I hope you get that house, and those foster kids? They're gonna love you.

Once upon a time, a girl began dating a boy who wore the same bracelet everyday. He shared the story of the bracelet with her, as he did most people he met. Later, she became his wife and on that important day, they wore matching branded cuffs (and now their wedding photos are classic branded Instagram posts). My then-boyfriend turned husband shared this special company with me and it has opened my eyes to the strength, courage, and bravery of the survivors. Every single one of them has been through more than any of us can even begin to imagine, and this strip of metal on my arm everyday is a reminder of the incredible strength of the survivor who made it. And I must say - I think A and I would be besties. Keep being strong, brave, and courageous, A. You got this.

Dear one, thank you for sharing your journey and allowing me to share mine with you. I also was a victim of sexual abuse in my own family, so I know the pain and the fear of trying to live a "normal life" wondering constantly when the next blow will strike. I'm so glad that you are out on the other side now and making a new life for yourself. God has been very gracious to me. He has given me a loving husband, a beautiful home, three wonderful children, two lovely children-in-law, and four precious grandchildren. I know that He wants to bless you with a beautiful life, and I pray you will allow Him to have control of your life and just see what blessings He gives.

I wear my bracelet everyday. I pray for and remember the strength of the person who made it. As Maya Angelou writes: You may write me down in history With your bitter, twisted lies, You may trod me in the very dirt But still, like dust, I’ll rise.

Branded 16102 a May God bless you in your life in ways that far surpasses what you ever imagined for your life. I pray this over your life! I wear your bracelet and am your prayer warrior! For as Psalms 126:5 promises, “Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.” God will heal all broken hearts. We will no longer feel sad for what we lacked in this physical life because God will fill our hearts and make us complete.
